| How do I calculate the space required for my
new Computer Room? | This is quite a complex process, but there is a
rule of thumb which can at least help to provide an estimate.

Calculate the area of each of your racks in sq meters.
2.
Multiply 1 by the number of racks. This figure should be about 20%
of the area of the required room, ensuring H&S, service clearances
and air floware catered for
3.
Therefore divide the figure from 2 by 20 and multiply by 100. This
is the area of the room required to house those racks
