Lincolnshire Council is a Unitary Authority that came into existence
on 1st April 1996 serving a population of approximately 152,000 in a
mix of urban and rural areas covering 85,000 hectares and employs
approximately 7,200 people. | | Following a flood at their Main Offices, which
damaged their Computer Room, NLC managed to construct temporary
accommodation for their computer systems.
Once
the initial crisis was over, they set about finding a company to
help them refurbish their existing temporary location and to build a
new external Computer Suite at their Brigg site. END2END were chosen
to provide the design of these 2 new facilities and were
subsequently awarded the contract to build both. Working in
partnership with NLC, END2END brought both projects in on time and
to budget, creating 2 state of the art facilities, whilst ensuring
the continued availability of their IT services.
As
part of a proactive maintenance package,END2END also monitor the
facilities 24 hours a day to ensure operational integrity. | |
